Making Waves is a curated anthology of commissions written by women for solo and chamber flute. Each piece will include voice in some way to highlight the composers' stories and inspirations, from mother-daughter relationships to the women who made the first moon landing possible.

I am collaborating with seven composers over the next several years - Ashi Day, Isabel Lepanto Gleicher, Shara Lunon, Niloufar Nourbakhsh, Judith Shatin, Annika K. Socolofsky and Pamela Z. Their works are being premiered in a 3-year concert series from 2023-2025, culminating in an album recording and full anthology performance.

Harford Community College is hosting the first premiere of this series on May 7 at 3:00 PM on their Sunday Afternoon Concert Series. New works by Isabel Lepanto Gleicher and Shara Lunon are being featured on this program.

I want audiences to experience music written by women, performed by women and celebrated by everyone. But, I need your help to make this possible! I have a fundraising goal of $15,000, and all donations will go directly towards composer commission fees, totaling $35,000. Take a look at the fun perks I'm offering, and please join me in Making Waves

Crowdfunding has officially launched! All launch-day backers receive a
Making Waves tote bag!

I am so grateful for your support! Thank you!

Making Waves is supported in part by the Maryland State Arts Council. Thank you to MSAC! To learn more about the Maryland State Arts Council and how they impact Maryland, visit msac.org
